There are basically two types of handpieces, air-driven and electric. Electric handpieces are much stronger than air-driven since a motor is spinning the bur as opposed to air. This allows the doctor to remove decay at a faster pace. This will cut down on the time it takes to complete a procedure. Electric handpieces are routinely used in surgical procedures as implants as well. We also have specific electric handpieces used specifically for endodontics (root canals).

Installation
Step 1：Fasten the connector at back of dental chair, another connector link up to
control device, and connect the handpiece.
Step 2：Insert the motor into control motor hose, then put it on the rack.
Step 3：Insert the power adaptor and connect up to power.
Step 4：Put the control device down on tooling tray, and insert the handpiece into
coupler.
Step 5: Connect up to power supply, turn the switch on, and motor start to run, operate by pedal of control device, operate same as motor.

• Press the “on”, the light is on, motor start to work.
• Press the up & down button to decrease or increase speed.
• Press the rotation button – green light – clockwise.
• Press the rotation button – red light – anticlockwise.

Warning : Do not press button during the motor on working.

Maintenance and repair

• Clean up the handpiece with Alcohol and keep it tidy.
• Do not clean, imerge or wipe with ionized water.
• Change the worn “O”ring periodic.
• Motor should be sterilized by steam.
